March makes 20 years for Biker's Choice. 

It was March of 1989, when BC first opened its doors in Hendersonville.  We started  in a 1200 sq ft. run down freestanding  flower shop on Gallatin Rd  on the east side of Hendersonville.  It really was a shack,   I remember locking the back door with a 2x4. Super Low rent,  It was perfect..  Our Team was doing great, and the shop was doing even better.  There were so many good people we dealt with in that first year that really motivated me to stick with the business.. With our background as a national race team,  GT and Specialized were two companies that trusted us with their product. Growing up here in town and having fun riding with so many people, led to almost an instant customer base..   

Then reality hit.  In less than a year we were evicted  for the demolition of the building,  We moved and Expenses more than  quadrupled   I dropped out of being a Pro Class racer, and had to go full time bike shop owner.    That hurt.  But once again,  I had support.  This time it was the customers.   So many customers were loyal and supportive.  So many customers made coming to work fun.  They believed in and trusted us, and we were not going to let them down.  

So now its been 20 years,  we have expanded our store 4 times now.  We have sold now over 10,000 bikes.  We still see many of our original customers.    We have supported hundreds of  riders,  events,  and charity fundraisers.   And each day, we look forward to seeing  both the old and new customers, and trying our hardest to earn their trust and maintain a great relationship through biking.
